Living Room Update

The high ceilings in the living room are striking but the acoustics in the vast space created an atmosphere that made it difficult to watch TV and enjoy smaller family gatherings. We kept the clients’ existing furniture and chose to add soft materials to absorb the sound bouncing off the floors and walls but a large area rug would’ve been cost prohibitive. Our economical solution was to add wall hangings and a large piece of carpet to dampen the echoes, adding an element of coziness in the meantime.
