The new owners of the resort wanted a design that embraced Hollywood’s long history with Palm Springs. The restaurant, lobby,bar, guest rooms, corridors and bathrooms were updated in a Mid-Century Modern theme with nods to Hollywood Glamour, and references to icons such as Marilyn Monroe and the Rat Pack were woven throughout.

The other goal was to orient guests within the sprawling resort. We differentiated passageways to connecting buildings by creating unique vignettes in each, setting the spaces apart. We also transitioned the dinner theater into a spa and transformed the pool deck into a lushly landscaped escape.
